1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using HireReady AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free, trial, and Pro subscribers.
2. Description of Service
HireReady AI is an AI-powered job search and resume tailoring platform. The Service includes:
- AI-powered resume tailoring to match job descriptions
- Job search aggregation across multiple job boards
- Cover letter generation
- Application tracking (Kanban board)
- Mock interview preparation (Pro users)
HireReady AI is a productivity tool. It does not guarantee employment, job interviews, or any specific career outcome. Results depend on individual qualifications and circumstances.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One person may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Free Plan and Trial
Free accounts are subject to the following limits:
- 3 AI resume tailoring sessions per day
- 20 job applications tracked per day
- Access to job search and application tracker
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to core features. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Pro Subscription and Payments
Pro subscriptions are billed at $9.00 USD per month. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize HireReady AI to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means or multiple accounts
- Upload malicious files or content
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service
- Use the AI features to generate fraudulent or misleading resumes
- Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the Service
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including resumes and cover letters. By uploading content, you grant HireReady AI a limited license to process that content to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your resume or career data.
Resume content submitted for AI processing is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. We do not use your content to train AI models.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
HireReady AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular job application. You use AI-generated resumes and cover letters at your own discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireReady AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, lost income, or career-related outcomes. Our maximum liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support at support@hirereadyai.co. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
